And a big welcome to the forty or so of you who just joined the crazy fun!

Well, sort of. Crazy, definitely. I'm a bit of an eclectic artist, but I suppose that's my charm: a little bit for everyone, I suppose.

Aaah, man, I don't really know what to say except for thank you guys! I guess I can update you all on my life, if you'd care to read?

Well, I'm excited to finally be reaching the summer. If I can make it through finals week, but I probably can. Maybe. Because summer means opening commissions and trying to start a clothes line-- Did I mention that? I don't think I did. Oh! Well, I suppose I should start with that then, huh?

Since I have recently become somewhat enamored of the Lolita fashion, but woefully underprepared for the cost and devotion it takes to find things that I like, I have decided to simply start making stuff I like that is affordable and nice in the fashion. That way, I can be paid to do something I'm relatively good at-- sewing-- and also have a quick and easy way to... you know, make things for myself. Because I like dresses and whatnot. That, and to improve on my drafting and fitting skills, because I would like to improve in those areas.

So, hopefully I can find an embroidery machine and a serger in a quality and price range I can endure. We'll see.

Uhm, what else? Well, I've managed to survive most of my first year of college, if that's worth anything. I even manage to nab a not-so-bad-paying job for next year, which is great.

Annnnd it's getting late and I can't think of much else that's entirely pertinent, so... I think that will be all for tonight.
