Haaaaaaapppy birthday ~1wordinsane! I labored over copic markers for yooou. To be fair, I did enjoy it. Copic markers are seriously just the best thing that has ever happened to my traditional art ehehe.
This is ~1wordinsane's gijinka Spiritomb, Artemis. Isn't he such a cool character?
Two things learned on this one. First, if you want a background, or may even just want one later on-- plan it in advance. Second, aughuahgsdkjlhsdlk reds bleed SO MUCH. Red + blender even more so...
Basically I worked mainly on perspective in the lineart and light sources in the coloring. This guy has too many light sources, so I limited myself to his stuff instead of adding an extra one. I tried to show the difference between light from within his body and light from outside of it; I didn't do as well as I'd hoped, but... I tried. Good first try.
If you name all the specific color markers I used on this, I will draw any character of your choice for you. Seriously. You can look up the colors on Copic website or something but if you can name them all (without any extras, the first to guess them, etc) you deserve a prize.
I never thought I could use so many colors on a single patch of color. ahehehuuuh.
On the other hand, having lost my tablet pen has been a HUGE downer. I had to edit this with my tablet's trackpad which was unfun. And of course I also want to dooooo artttt thinnngsss on the computer... But I digress. Gives me a chance to work with pen-and-paper mediums.Which are supah fun.
Pff you're super crazy amg fdsdfkljfl this looks soo good CX and aaah he blending and the lines and the oclouring and perspective whoaaa glowly ball CX
